Who does the Anna Schindler Foundation help?
We support families in the Inland Northwest (Eastern WA, North ID, Western MT, and Northeast OR) who have a child undergoing cancer treatment.
What kind of assistance do you provide?
The Anna Schindler Foundation assists with meal cards, lodging, gas, groceries, living expenses, medical bills and emotional support. We provide housing for families from out of the area near Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Anna’s Homes.
What are Anna’s Homes?
Anna’s Homes are fully furnished, private townhomes located near Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane. They provide families from out of the area with a restful place to stay during intense and critical times of treatment.
How much does it cost to stay at Anna’s Homes?
Anna’s Homes stays are sometimes funded by insurance. Anna’s Homes for the Holidays fundraiser covers all families who do not have a medical lodging benefit on their insurance.
Can I volunteer or get involved?
We have limited volunteer opportunities, please contact us for information. We always have opportunities to give through our Anna’s Homes Amazon Wish list that helps families on a daily basis. Just click the link.
Are donations tax deductible?
Yes, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (ID #27-4692053). All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
